Here's my personal favorite mission patch: Which states, "Omnis Vestri Substructio Es Servus Ad Nobis", or in translation "All your base are belong to us."[0] These logos are a bit tongue-in-cheek. [0]http://vigilantcitizen.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/015.png

I wonder to what extent this YouTube Kids stuff represents a "moral panic" --- oh no, look at the depraved things our children are watching! And they are TEACHING an ALGORITHM to learn that LIVE CHILD ACTORS should be made to act out even more depraved versions of these things to get more page views! Versus a real problem -- oh shit, we accidentally created a brand new Internet where there are no more editors, everyone is free to find their own content democratically, hooray, but some of the people we put in charge of creating that content are hyperactive amoral entities. I know a bunch of Facebook employees have this view of the whole "filter bubble", "fake news" situation which is, more or less -- Deal With It. The news feed algorithm is here to stay, it's the new printing press, editors are obsolete, and everyone gets to decide their own truth now. That view is evinced ambivalently at e.g. https://www.wired.com/story/the-solution-to-facebook-overload-isnt-mor… . But I'm not sure how that view copes with the YouTube monetization model which .... starts with children's videos ... goes to ad revenue ... and leads to children being videotaped apparently in real distress for money. Here are 2 points of reference: (1) YouTube channel "DaddyOfFive" had 750,000+ subscribers and featured what was fairly clearly child abuse ("pranks"). Somebody finally thought it might be a good idea to report this to authorities and the father lost custody of some of the children.…

Articles like this always make me revisit the Vigilant Citizen website [0]. The site often reviews music videos and large events like the MTV Music Video Awards and looks at the symbolic imagery used. The subject of these videos often seems to be mind control of the artists. I don't want to sound like some crazy guy, I just find the whole mind control theme interesting without having a real opinion on the subject. I always wonder what's the point in rehashing the same imagery so often by so many different artists and events. To me it seems pointless. But maybe it has some effects on the youths that watch these videos every day? Or is it just meant to look "cool" or "interesting"? I certainly don't watch much television anymore these days and I don't seem to recall videos that used such imagery in my youth. On the whole, I think videos in the 90s and early 2000's were often much more interesting or funny. --- [0]: http://vigilantcitizen.com/?s=mind+control

Kanye West was drugged by his Personal trainer Harley Pasternak who has connection to Canadian Military where he talks about using mind-control drugs on soldiers. https://vigilantcitizen.com/latestnews/did-kanye-expose-hollywood-pers…

We've already kind of seen a form of that in Hello Barbie https://vigilantcitizen.com/latestnews/hello-barbie-the-creepy-doll-th… https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/nov/26/hackers-can-hijack-… The book looks good btw! And I'm checking out her TED talk. If you're secretly an AI book ad pushing algorithm you just got me...

Pan is also the god of wild, shepherds and flocks in greek mythology (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_(god)). Which would suite perfectly for watching over the people, who many of those in power just think as sheep who can be controlled. If you do any research into this subject, you will find many references to different gods, mythologies and other things that are starting to sound like black magic. Just for some examples, see these now famous psyops patches and the symbology used in them: https://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/top-10-most-sinister-psyops…

This is certainly one of their tactics. Here's an okay link describing other tactics: http://vigilantcitizen.com/latestnews/the-25-rules-of-disinformation/

To further fan the embers of your fear, please enjoy: [edit: title of link "Logo of New NRO Spy Satellite: An Octopus Engulfing the World with the Words “Nothing is Beyond Our Reach” Underneath"] http://vigilantcitizen.com/latestnews/new-u-s-spy-satellite-logo-octop… and: ["Top 10 Most Sinister PSYOPS Mission Patches"] http://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/top-10-most-sinister-psyops-… I find it interesting (and sad) how the last few months have shifted my perspective on Bruce Sterling's "Zenith Angle" from leaning more towards satire, to leaning more towards hard sci-fi/telling the "truth" with fiction.

It is a little weird to have devils and such strongly worded messages in mission badges, but it's come to be expected. There is a huge psychological factor in the DoD about making people believe you have the biggest stick and can see everything. Kind of like putting an alarm company sign outside of your door to prevent theives. http://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/top-10-most-sinister-psyops-… http://www.thelivingmoon.com/45jack_files/03files/Mission_Patches_Thei… http://www.thespacereview.com/article/1033/1 http://www.thespacereview.com/article/1033/2

In the past couple of years there has been a huge uptick in YT content targeting very young children. The feedback loop is so tight that many of the creators have converged on designing some of the most visceral (and disturbing) material that appeals to kids at a reptilian level. Think about how genuinely weird little kids are. Sometimes they do stuff that would be scary if it wasn't just a minute of innocent pretend and a toy. Stuff like kidnapping each other or performing surgery on each other. Well, now there are hundreds of thousands of YT videos illustrating that kind of material in fine detail. Many of them have millions of views. This site [1] has a good collection of screenshots of what I'm referring to. Unfortunately, it's such a heavyweight site that AdBlock is practically required just to open the page. [1] https://vigilantcitizen.com/moviesandtv/something-is-terribly-wrong-wi… "Warning: This article contains disturbing images … although they’re all taken from children’s videos." If your children are watching YouTube, make sure they are doing it only when and where you are able to see what they are watching.

Doesn't seem all that surprising, these kinds of things have been around for years: http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2010/11/secret-insignias-from-the-blac… http://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/top-10-most-sinister-psyops-… Patches seem more like a game of one-upmanship. I do like this patch's story, sounds just like something a bunch of engineers would come up with: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3c/NROL49_patch.jpg > This patch for NROL-49 depicts a phoenix rising from the flames with the flag of the United States in the background. The Latin words “Melior Diabolus Quem Scies” roughly translates to mean “The Devil You Know,” as in the phrase “Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know”. Cryptic. According to NASA, this saying refers to the return of the use of an old system after attempting to use a new one, which had resulted in failure.

You guys will probably think this site is "a little over the top" heh, but I think its very interesting: http://vigilantcitizen.com/category/moviesandtv/ "“Of course, many serial murders are nothing more than the work of a single individual acting out a graphic horror movie he saw, or responding to powerful “psychotic” impulses for aggression and predation. But many other serial murders involve a cult protected by the U.S. government and the corporate media, with strong ties to the police. These murders are actually intricately choreographed rituals; performed first on a very intimate and secret scale, among the initiates themselves in order to program them, them on a grand scale, amplified incalculably by the electronic media. In the end what we have is a highly symbolic, ritual working broadcast to millions of people, a Satanic inversion; a Black mass, where the “pews” are filled by the entire nation and through which humanity is paganized, brutalized and debased in this, the “Nigredo” phase of the alchemical process. The French adept Antonin Artaud, architect of the theory of the “Theater of Cruelty” with its transformative power, and the inspiration for the extreme sex-and-death media of our time, had this to say about the processing of the Group Mind: ‘Aside from trifling witchcraft of country sorcerers, there are tricks of global hoodoo in which all alerted consciousnesses participate periodically… That is how strange forces are aroused and transported to the astral…
