Just to add, http://www.yearofmoo.com/2013/09/advanced-testing-and-debugging-in-ang… A great article in a series of AngularJS articles, written by Matias Niemelä.

The problem with this kind of article is they are too trivial to be truly original and don't help testing a real application, even a light one. Who want to test his evening project ? Worst, it's by far too light on karma and E2E testing. They have a lot of pitfalls, traps, and documentation is nearly inexistent. A shame considering the size of these projects. I upvoted, though, because I want more discussion on that topic. For anyone who want further links about Unit-testing on Angular, I recommend the series from Benjamin Lesh on testing controllers[1], services[2], and directives[3]. This article[4] from The Year of Moo is also excellent and introduces the limit of End-to-end testing with a solution. [1]: http://www.benlesh.com/2013/05/angularjs-unit-testing-controllers.html [2]: http://www.benlesh.com/2013/06/angular-js-unit-testing-services.html [3]: http://www.benlesh.com/2013/06/angular-js-unit-testing-directives.html [4]: http://www.yearofmoo.com/2013/01/full-spectrum-testing-with-angularjs-… I'll be highly interested if someone has anything consistent about Karma and Angular-scenario. I didn't find anything satisfactory about setup anything bigger than 200 LoC. For what I saw, people run away from Angular-scenario and inject Jasmine and Mocks as a work-around.

Google crawlers execute Javascript [1] since this year. Before that you apparently had to deliver a pre-rendered page to the crawler. I don't know anything about the lyft stack, but there are solutions for SEO with Single-Page Apps (see e.g. [2]). There's also: yearofmoo [0], the AngularJSLearning Index [1], David Mosher [2], tutorialzine [3], and the ng-newsletter. [4] I would like to see the Integration With Other Languages/Frameworks section expanded (D3, PouchDB, etc). Are you guys planning on expanding on that? Angular 1.2 supports animations between ng-views, which would mean you wouldn't have to build very much. http://www.yearofmoo.com/2013/08/remastered-animation-in-angularjs-1-2…

Angular enables testability by design. This is one of the better written tutorials on how to approach it: http://www.yearofmoo.com/2013/01/full-spectrum-testing-with-angularjs-…

Angular uses DOM templating instead of string-based templating (most current JS templating engines are string-based), so you would definitely need to fire up a headless browser (PhantomJS) or DOM (JSDOM) of some sort to get it working. It would be very slow if you were doing this dynamically so you would probably want to regularly compile and cache your pages.
