If anyone wants to recommend something for beginners. Then checkout https://www.stackbit.com/. It can even convert your existing themes b/w various SSGs (like Hugo,Jekyll). And they have some pre-made themes too, although, small selection, but good ones.
Just a 4 step process: https://app.stackbit.com/create

Wonderful article, RSS needs to make a comeback. Especially among friends and family who love to make large posts about important topics. I try to tell them to build a blog and then just link to articles that they write. Your article and others inspired me to finally just put together a system to make it easier to start blogging. I just mimic a social media platform, but since everything is committed to a repository using the JAMstack it could easily be converted to a full website. Any feedback would be wonderful. https://your-media.netlify.com/post/make-your-own-media/
Everything is owned by the end user. This is only providing a recipe for people to use.
I will also mention that https://www.stackbit.com/ is doing basically the same thing but more from a “Make life easier for Website designers” perspective.

Similar is https://stackbit.com/. I've used it to make my React website visually editable so my marketers could have a WYSIWYG.

This is 100% where the website building ecosystem is going. As a coder who knows just enough to be dangerous, I'm so excited about it. I know http://stackbit.com/ has been doing this for a while. What makes WeWeb guys different/better?

Awesome! Seems very easy to add to Next.js/Gatsby websites.
Btw you can migrate from Medium to Jamstack with this Stackbit tool: https://www.stackbit.com/medium/
Seems like a great combo!

The CLI version is pretty cool, if you'd like a more point-and-click experience try: https://www.stackbit.com/medium/ (Disclaimer: we created this a few weeks ago)
It uses the same Medium export process and lets you pick what Site Generator to use (e.g. Gatsby, Hugo, Jekyll) and more importantly it lets you pick between a variety of CMS like Contentful, NetlifyCMS, Forestry and DatoCMS.
Oh there are also several Blogging themes to pick with and your new imported blog can be up and running in 1-2 minutes.
