Rixsteps take on .DS_Store - a much more enjoyable read. https://rixstep.com/1/20030521,00.shtml
And a follow up article - https://rixstep.com/2/20061212,00.shtml

I assume that he's referring to attack articles like this one:
http://rixstep.com/2/1/20111016,01.shtml
which is pretty indefensible even if you subscribe to the view that the allegations are (i) completely false or (ii) have some basis in truth but are in fact the result of a disagreement between adults that doesn't make him legally or morally guilty of rape.
I think Sweden has a general policy of pursuing alleged rapists even when they aren't public figures. The UK have undoubtedly spent far more time and effort pursuing him than they would for a non-public figure, but that's because non-public figures are unlikely to have the ability to claim asylum in the Ecuadorean embassy.

The evidence suggests it is highly unlikely they are true.
Most rape victims don't tweet about how it's "amazing" to hang out with "cool" and "smart" people after being raped, or throw a party for their rapist.
http://rixstep.com/1/20101001,01.shtml
Nor do they usually invite their rapist to stay at their house 4 days after the rape.

It's also a rather implausible coincidence that after these events, the rape charge only surfaced after a) Assange failed to call either Anna Ardin or Miss W. back and b) Ardin and W each discovered he was sleeping with the other one.
I think the story itself justifies a very low probability of being true - in my estimation, probably considerably less than 1%.

I read a good article on why the charges against Assange are absurd: http://rixstep.com/1/20101001,01.shtml
And a more recent follow up: http://rixstep.com/1/20101202,01.shtml

I one really wants to get into the settings of Mac OsX, and have a marvellous scheme based tool, which securely performs requests, and are free as well :-)
Then Clix is the ultimate choice in my humble opinion.
It is published under the assumption that it is better to teach a man to fish.
The software can be found here:

Believe me when I say your machine will still be sprinkled with crap after running AppZapper. If you want to remove it, you need something like https://rixstep.com/4/0/tracker/

Yes - this is exactly the advice that BWK gives. Rule #2 specifically.
Keep it simple.
Build it in stages.
Let someone else do the hard part.
