Link to Github: http://swifteducation.github.io/ Link to course on iTunes U: https://itunes.apple.com/us/course/app-development-teaching-swift/id10… --- TL;DR: Apple has apparently, via some sort of collaboration with a university professor, published last week — during WWDC — a really solid-looking learn-to-code curriculum for Swift that is kind of on iTunes U but that is really on GitHub. source: https://medium.com/ios-os-x-development/apple-has-published-a-great-fr…

Not up to date? They already made most of what was possible without breaking compatibility. https://medium.com/ios-os-x-development/generics-in-objective-c-8f54c9…

This is certainly a good move. The Facebook SDK for example is widely used by many apps for Facebook ad performance tracking and analytics and that's something he public should be aware of. See https://medium.com/ios-os-x-development/libraries-used-in-the-top-100-… for example

This is similar to Postman's test runner feature. You can export a collection of requests and even write simple assertions in javascript. Although it looks like Paw has potential for something similar with its extensions. It already has some sort of javascript availability. https://medium.com/ios-os-x-development/make-your-app-extensible-with-…

Very interesting - does anyone know exactly what techniques they use to gather this data? I'm guessing to some extent it must rely on a jailbroken iOS to get past the .ipa code encryption, as with this similar analysis: https://medium.com/ios-os-x-development/libraries-used-in-the-top-100-…

ComScore is one of the larger providers of these statistics similar to Nielsen ratings they provide a library you setup in your app. see # 18: https://medium.com/ios-os-x-development/libraries-used-in-the-top-100-…

It was quite funny to see https://medium.com/ios-os-x-development/review-monitor-da415cb96d1f released last Thursday, since our app was ready by then :)
