This is a great list! Here are some tools that I have also found useful that I don't see on the list: Dash[1] - Quickly check documentation (like, really quickly) objc.io[2] - Great reading on iOS and OS X APIs HockeyApp[3] - Service similar to Testflight https://itunes.apple.com/app/dash-docs-snippets/id458034879?mt=12, http://www.objc.io/, http://hockeyapp.net/

Since this is still floating around /best, I highly recommend http://hockeyapp.net/ SoundFocus is using it for their betas and it "just works" for distribution and updating. Feels like the app store too.

Don't believe the crash reports in iTunes connect, they lie, your app does crash... a lot, so add a crash reporter. The best I found so far is the self-hosted QuincyKit (http://quincykit.net/) or if you don't want to fiddle with your own server, use HockeyApp (http://www.hockeyapp.net/).

You can use HockeyApp (https://hockeyapp.net/) or just get your friend's UDID and build an IPA yourself to distribute the build to your friend's device, even if he or she is remote. Testflight is more intended for "semi-open" betas where you only have tester's email.

Take a look at HockeyApp, also Ship.io. http://hockeyapp.net http://ship.io

Sorry to see that the older TestFlight seems to be losing functionality. Sessions show up as anonymous and remote logging doesn't work for me anymore. I'm thinking of switching to http://hockeyapp.net/

I don't have lift either, but I use http://www.hockeyapp.net/ to deploy provisional apps via a direct install to iOS

Hey! Engineer on the App Center team here. We have a detailed explanation of our HockeyApp -> App Center migration plans at https://www.hockeyapp.net/appcenter/transition/ but the gist is: We won't shut down before all HockeyApp users are happy with what we built and want to switch over. That also includes WPF support. The latest App Center SDK available on NuGet already supports WPF, support for Build and Test are coming in the future!

Nothing in the transition roadmap from HockeyApp :/ https://www.hockeyapp.net/appcenter/roadmap/

I found it quite easy to find on the front page of their website, http://hockeyapp.net/features.
