1. You are exposing your source code to anyone who might be interested.
I think that exposing your CSS source code with comments etc is more beneficial than detrimental. It helps us have a more open web and fosters an environment for new developers to learn from what's already great.
However, the overhead of always sending down the full CSS probably isn't worth it since so few people are actually interested. http://daneden.me/max-css/ suggests including a .max version of your css alongside the .min for this very purpose, which I think is a great idea.

There isn't really a magic number when it comes to the typography of a webpage. I'd be wary of using more than 3 unless you really know what you are doing. Two fonts, one for headings and one for body text, is probably most common. Even a single font can look great in the right situation.
Also remember that you can play around with the font style/weight/case to create variations of the same font.
Although selecting typefaces is a big subject as a whole, check out this great resource for some examples of typefaces that compliment each other http://daneden.me/type/

Is this just animate.css (https://daneden.me/animate/) rebranded?

Speaking of cool CSS animations, try this pure-css library:

animate.css has been around for quite some time and is also very impressive: http://daneden.me/animate/

Also helpful would be a brief list of functionality so you can make a comparison more fairly. Bootstrap's minified 122kB css weight (with responsive) is huge compared to that of Skeleton's 12kB, but the former has more features. Or Toast, with it's 3.7kB min size but even fewer features than Skeleton.
Skeleton: http://www.getskeleton.com/
Toast: http://daneden.me/toast/
Bootstrap: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/

There's http://lesselements.com/ for vendor-prefixes & https://github.com/machito/animate.less (based on http://daneden.me/animate/) for some pre-made animations.

Animate.css (http://daneden.me/animate/), super easy css3 animations.

Good point.
Then perhaps minify and add a comment referring to http://daneden.me/max-css ?

Hi all. Thanks for your comments on this. I've addressed a few of the misunderstandings and concerns raised here on HN, Twitter et al over on my blog: http://daneden.me/2012/07/max-css-in-depth/

Same experience for me with HN Thread http://kaspa.rs/hn-bookmarklet/. This seems to work much better.
Let's take this url as an example http://daneden.me/animate/.
With HN Thread I get one page.
With Hacker Panel I just get the submission screen.
With this bookmarklet I get all three times the page was submitted to Hacker News.
Thanks OP.
