Hi Carlos! Yes we were one of them. Hashicorp was a big part of our success (https://Contino.io). Hashicorp were nice to work with. Congrats guys.

They are much harder to avoid than google:
Look at this list: https://www.contino.io/insights/whos-using-aws
Amazon, and their primary revenue stream (AWS) is *immune* to boycott because it's so diversified. The fact that a company is immune to boycott is alarming.

According to this, both Twitter and Facebook use aws: https://www.contino.io/insights/whos-using-aws
There have been a lot of livestreams and general calls of hate and violence on those social media sites from all political spectrums. Where are their bans? That's why theres an uproar.

Pretty sure that can be considered violence. I think I feel that way due to the genocide part. Where's Facebook's ban? Oh wait, that's right, big tech is it's own good ol'boys club.

It is actually based on the ec2 instance type you decide to boot, and generally the bigger the instance the more ENI's you can attach. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/using-eni.html
The EC2 k8s network driver they wrote essentially will attach/detach extra ENI's on the fly and pre-allocate IP addresses to your EC2 host to allow for fast pod spin up/down.
I found this article pretty helpful to explain some of the AWS differences: https://www.contino.io/insights/kubernetes-is-hard-why-eks-makes-it-ea…

Just AWS (as of 2020, per the artice). Apple could even be included in that list, according to CNBC. How many more are on Azure or GCP? I would argue you're not…

Maybe a few here would cause some concern. Also note that not all companies/governments using AWS just let everybody know that they are, so they aren't listed and you can only know when the service goes offline.
