The http://boagworld.com podcast/blog is great. They are on hiatus at the moment but they talk about really interesting parts of web design; tools, techniques and inspiration.

I have only one to recommend:
Boagworld - https://boagworld.com/show/
They've been doing the web/design/ux thing for about 10 years now and it's still fun to listen too. More design, less tech.

Hey guys,
I am glad my post has kicked off such an interesting discussion. It seems to have struck a nerve with people.
It has also inspired me to write a followup post on my own blog looking at the subject of side projects in a little more depth: http://boagworld.com/working-in-web-design/side-projects-can-cure-our-…

Excellent work but a bit risky using Vimeo? They seem to be quite boot-happy for even vaguely commercially-related usage: http://boagworld.com/reviews/vimeo/

The introduction of copious amounts of whitespace is a very common design tool that is not limited to just websites. Have a look at an average art gallery or museum and you will know what I mean. And there's a reason why using whitespace is a good thing, as outlined in this article[1] for example.

Boagworld has a good, concise overview of the changes and what you should do:

The creator's website appears to be: http://boagworld.com/design/where-are-my-rounded-corners/
I found the PDF while browsing through a local design firm's website ( http://bigseadesign.com/2011/05/where-are-my-rounded-corners/ ) which I came across while searching for cross-browser rounded corners effect for my CSS3 pattern generator: https://zetabee.com/weave/share/3f476353. Turns out Chrome, FF, Safari, and Opera all support box-radius without any special browser-specific properties.

The comments over at boagworld suggest a compromise as well as reasons why you shouldn't do this. All good in my opinion.
