Awesome find. https://www.amygoodchild.com/blog
The HN homepage has two brilliant articles from Amy. The website is now on my RSS Watchlist. There are quite a few interesting articles about the soothing existence between Art and Programming.

A related but different approach I liked was taken by Amy Goodchild, who is an artist that uses code for her creations.
She encoded her handwriting as paths in JS (rather than as a font): https://www.amygoodchild.com/blog/cursive-handwriting-in-javascript

I wonder if there's any way to transform this approach taken by Amy Goodchild into actual font files: https://www.amygoodchild.com/blog/cursive-handwriting-in-javascript

Amy Goodchild has done some incredible work in this vein, involving pen plotters even. https://www.amygoodchild.com/blog/cursive-handwriting-in-javascript

It's also coded in javascript but based off my own handwriting (and I am indeed a left handed woman).
I have another article about it here - https://www.amygoodchild.com/blog/cursive-handwriting-in-javascript
