Reminds me of the drama revolving around phpVirtualBox from a while back: http://ahmetalpbalkan.com/blog/a-cry-for-help/ Software and technoloy should be a joy and a light, not a curse. For those who would like to start the usual “VC, funding, mentor” or “charge for the damn thing” mantras — please, spare it. We’re not in the Valley where it might be super-easy, and, after all, not everyone wants to be an entrepreneur. We just love making a good RSS reader. I hate this false belief that "good RSS reader" and "RSS reader that you have to pay for" are somehow diametrically opposed to one another. Best of luck to the team. I hope everything works out.

I have 2 candidates, neither of them are mine but my friends'. The first one is http://ollaa.com The service lets you share 6 different activities you do most; like eating, drinking, watching, buying etc. It is similar to Path in some aspects. You can connect with one of the cofounders through his site: http://ahmetalpbalkan.com/ The second service is http://gonnasphere.com That is a collaborative to-do list that you can share your gonna's with your friends. I am not related to any of the services so I might have not explain them well. If anyone is interested they can check them out.

I really would like to say my congratulations to them. They are a pretty decent project management tool, we use them at ollaa and recently I have written a blog post about HipChat. http://ahmetalpbalkan.com/blog/why-we-love-and-hate-hipchat/ Atlassian is making really smart decisions.

Yep, aware. For the sake of consistency with the "how to run docker on azure" tutorial we linked from this tutorial, we sustained the --tls parameter. I'm not big fan of TLS at all :) For me even basic auth does the job: https://ahmetalpbalkan.com/blog/docker-http-basic-auth/ :)

Can a mod please change the of this article to point directly to the blogpost (http://ahmetalpbalkan.com/blog/the-5-saas/), not via Heroku. There is no reason for this redirect, plus I clicked through thinking that this article was from the good people of Heroku.
