Seems very similar to AgileZen, but more basic: http://agilezen.com/ Seems interesting anyways. Really love the interface.

This looks very similar to http://agilezen.com/ which uses many of the same principles. I am a user of AgileZen and I really like it. I like using the board for tasks. Its great to see work laid out like that and as I jump from one thing to another, I can easily move things around. At the end of the day I can clearly see where I'm at. What are the main differences between the two products? Why should I move to your system from Agilezen ?

AgileZen (Rally Software) - Raleigh, NC Interaction Designer We build AgileZen (http://agilezen.com), a lightweight project management tool that helps individuals and small teams visualize their work and communicate more effectively. We're looking for someone with a great design aesthetic to help us improve both our marketing site and our application's UI. The ideal candidate will have experience with graphic design, information architecture, user experience and will be an expert in web technologies like HTML and CSS. The position is likely contract-to-hire, but we're willing to skip right to the hire step if you're particularly awesome. :) We're mainly looking for someone in the Raleigh-Durham area that can work out of our office in downtown Raleigh at least a few days a week. AgileZen was co-founded by my wife Niki and me in 2009, and was acquired by Rally Software in 2010. We're now a tight-knit, cross-functional team of 8 people, and we think of ourselves as a small startup inside of a larger company. We're dedicated to helping startups and small teams become better at what they do. If you think you might be interested in working with us, get in touch with Niki at: [email protected]

I think Trello is vastly overrated. We have been using AgileZen http://www.agilezen.com/ and find it much more effective. Trello has some nice features, but I think that the cards get too busy very quickly. It becomes hard to scan the tasks and details get lost on the back of the card.

http://agilezen.com/ is very close, and actually has a bunch of other useful features too. Although I've got to say that trello is a lot slicker than agilezen.

Raleigh, NC - AgileZen (http://agilezen.com) Internet Marketing Specialist for the AgileZen product at Rally Software We’re looking for someone awesome to run all the marketing activities for our product. This role will have a lot of variety and freedom, so we need someone who can wear a lot of hats and is a self-starter. The responsibilities for this position will include: guiding changes to our current marketing website, running pay-per-click campaigns, communicating with customers via email, spreading the word about the product using social media, and organize materials for conferences and events. We're a small team that likes to work hard, but have fun too. We have a keg in the office and we play video games to blow off steam, so if this environment seems like a good fit for you, check out the full job description (http://t.co/T2WJRjw) and apply!

Some startups that used the .NET stack: -Stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/ -Agile Zen: http://agilezen.com/ The framework you use to develop doesn't matter. If you like .NET go with it, if you like RoR go with it. For costs, you can take a look at the BizSpark program from MS, you can get all MS products you need for $100 for 3 years, then you pay for it.

Kanban itself isn't key, but rather I think the key is having a plan. Kanban is a process where you divide your work into stories, and place them on a visual board. You pull stories across the board into different columns as the story progresses. Typical columns are "ready to pull" (first column, this story is ready to begin work), "in progress", "in test", "complete". The idea is to focus on getting cards across the entire board, and having few cards in flight at a time. This is generally believed to increase productivity by avoiding the urge to multitask too much. It can also reveal bottlenecks in your team's process and generally is good at visualizing how your team gets things done. Which can be eye opening. Since I'm all by myself, my kanban board is really just a fancy todo list. I am using http://www.agilezen.com for my board. Trello is a more well known app along these lines, but purists disagree that Trello truly accomplishes Kanban because it's missing a few key Kanban concepts (whether that really matters is up for debate).

I noticed your company's site has a header too. It's just not colored black. There is not much difference between your site and CustomerFind in that sense. In fact, your pricing page(http://agilezen.com/pricing) is clearly inspired by basecamp. Absolutely nothing wrong with it(I don't think it is in ripoff category). But for someone to have such stringent standards when evaluating others, it's odd.
